Oh good LORD.
There was Stephenie Meyer, smack dab in the middle of the screen, not even hidden or off to the side.

Ick...just as tacky as I though it would be. They actually managed to take something classy and make it something crappy. They just set a new bar for "absolutely horrible".
Of course. It's their specialty.
Did the same to Wuthering Heights.
What? They ruined James Bond AND Wuthering Heights?
NOOOOO!!!!!
Well, not in the movie (so far). Didn't they talk about it a lot in the books, though?

Personally, I prefer the darker, more violent and ruthless Bonds. That said, I really like Daniel Craig, Sean Connery, and Timothy Dalton. I haven't seen "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", the one with that Australian in it, but he isn't much, so I only counted five Bonds. Although Roger Moore is my least favorite of the five, I really liked him too---I loved all of them.
But in my opinion, Pierce Brosnan looks the most like Bond (in my head, at least) and Timothy Dalton is the one most loyal to the literary Bond.
I'll admit, I was kind of prejudiced against Craig, though, since he was blond and I'd always seen Bond with dark brown hair. But after seeing Casino Royale, all that changed...He's a good example of some question Magda asked on Y!A, whether the actors who portray characters in adaptations need to look like the character. I said that as long as they can play the part, that's good enough.
