So far I have: Rebecca, by Daphne du Maurier Trigger, by Susan Vaught Darkly Dreaming Dexter, by Jeff Lindsay Inkdeath, by Cornelia Funke Of Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck The Jungle, by Upton Sinclair Any other recommendations? Gone with the Wind is added to my list now. Margaret Mitchell, correct? Whenever is fine with me. We can plan that one after we finish Phantom, maybe. Yes, Margaret Mitchell. I would buddy read that one with you, but it's such a long book and one that you should go at your own pace on. Plus I doubt we could find twin copies-- mine's an antique 1950s version, which I hold dear.

My French teacher showed us a 100 year old book she has that contains a collection of French fables, and it was beautiful. ~ I'm also adding False Memory by Dean Koontz to the list, as Mariah recommended that to me awhile back.

| I am going to suggest some YA. Dreamland by Sarah Dessen. It's not fantastic literature, but it's fairly relatable and makes you think about the relationships of people your (our) age. Th1rteen R3asons Why by Jay Asher. I read this a few weeks ago, expecting some fantastic eye-opening experience. I was a bit let down, but in a way, not really. It helps you think about how you affect others around you. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. A book similar to Th1rteen R3asons why in many ways, but about different things. I really suggest reading it.
You could read all three of those in two weeks easily.

I remember you were reading Jay Asher's book a few weeks ago; did you like it? Was it a let down just because of the ending?

I remember you were reading Jay Asher's book a few weeks ago; did you like it? Was it a let down just because of the ending? Well, you know she's dead from the beginning, so no. It's just that everyone says it's so eye-opening and touching, but I didn't think it was incredibly so. I felt like it had the potential to be, but the writer kind of pulled away. Which makes sense, as the girl faded away, but I was expecting more. Maybe I'm just a cold analytical person, but I don't think so. I think that it's a story that's sad, but doesn't connect right, and I caught it.

The Darkest Evening of The Year-Dean Koontz The Three Musketeers-Alexandre Dumas Les Miserables-Victor Hugo Gone With the Wind-Margaret Mitchell Oliver Twist-Charles Dickens Your Heart Belongs to Me-Dean Koontz
There is probably a few that I am forgetting.

| Rebecca and Of Mice and Men are two amazing books. Rebecca, I think, has a lot in common with Jane Eyre.
The Jungle is also good, but not because it's exciting or anything. It's not. The whole book is downright long and depressing. However, it is a book that made me question the way I live and society in general. It taught me quite a bit. The last few chapters, admittedly, I hated. It was Sinclair ranting about how Socialism would fix everything. I don't mind politics in books, but he could have done it in a better way. But back to the point: The Jungle is an excellent account of some of the more horrible aspects of humanity. And unless you count the Socialist propaganda, there will be no real happy ending. Still, I'm totally up for buddy reading it with you guys.
Classic book suggestions (I'm not sure if you haven't read some of these): The Scarlet Pimpernel -- Emmuska Orczy The Tenant of Wildfell Hall -- Anne Bronte The Count of Monte Cristo -- Alexandre Dumas Don Quixote -- Miguel de Cervantes
Other suggestions: The Graves Are Not Yet Full -- Bill Berkeley. All right, I realize there's a fat chance you'd ever even open this book, but I had to suggest it. I always suggest this book. It isn't filled with page-turning excitement, and it sounds more like a report than a story most of the time. But it's one of those books that, when you get done reading it, you feel like you understand something a lot better. If there's a book that's changed my goals and dreams, it's this one. If there's a book that afterwards made me reflect on myself, my country, and humanity in general, it's this one. I rant about this book so much because I feel like too many people don't even know where Rwanda or Sudan are on a map, let alone the things that go on there. So yeah. There's the incredibly long description of why I think this book's important and what not. The Dark Tower Series -- Stephen King Misery -- Stephen King The Kite Runner -- Khaled Hosseini

There is probably a few that I am forgetting. I might want to buddy read Les Miserables with you, but I think that it's pretty large for buddy reading and we might not want to take that on-- much like Gone with the Wind.

No need to apologize. It was an honest mistake. Nicholle and I are like twins here. I can vouch for her. In fact, these two behave in similar manners. Anyways, I'm graduating from high school in June. I can't read much until then, because I'm being pounded with graduation credits and work. Then there are the AP exams and finals and EEEKKKK!!!! But this summer, I'm doing absolutely nothing. So I'll be alternating between reading and playing videogames. It will be awesome
