Damn. I hate being here alone.

I did not came those past few days not because I lost interest in the forum but because I lost Internet.
I also had important-not easy-decisions to take. I have decided to stay in Denmark for at least one year (maybe two). Which means being away from my family and friends in France for a while again.

I will try to come more often, and post reviews.

Different things in my life, including an increasingly busy schedule, as well as other things have forced me to say a temporary goodbye to this forum. I don't want to do this, and I'm going to miss this place terribly, but I don't really have another choice at this time. Hi Laura! Glad to see you back! I can only imagine how frazzled you must be by that massive clusterf*** at your university. Enjoy your holiday in Bavaria! And, hopefully, you can still pop in once in a while.

Oh god. I just realized I haven't been online at all for a week except to check my mail. Things have been crazy around here - I'm so desperate for my holiday.

First off, we got a new software to do our students' reports with. Great idea, except unfortunately it messed up all the school's computers, most of the report cards, and we had to redo most of it. Twice. Yay. Then the school decided we should have a major cleanout yesterday and today, which meant that 80 teachers and more than 1,000 students were running around the hallways, carrying boxes or bag filled with rubbish from A to B and back again (because nobody had any plan about where the stuff actually should have gone). So now, we have clean rubbish, seriously sore muscles, and my voice is totally strained from trying to keep my own bunch in something resembling order.

Oh, and then came my exams. I should have gotten my own report card ten days ago, but, surprise, the university guys once again didn't do their f*cking job. I spent most of my afternoons last week calling up on people, pressuring them and eventually threatening them with a big, fat lawsuit if they didn't get their act together. Worked a treat, actually - I now have the report card, and can get my application in before the process closes. That is, if I can get the necessary copies by tomorrow. Which I hope I can.

Thank god tomorrow's the last day of school. I decided to have a nice, quiet (!) breakfast with my students, and that's it. And on Thursday, it's finally off to Bavaria! Yay! Three weeks of nothing but reading, sleeping and reading!

Louisa, you make me want to better myself. I have this automatic swearword filter whenever I'm around my parents or my parents' friends. All the just bleeps off. But as soon as I'm alone or with people I know won't disapprove, I start mouthing off again. Oops.

Well, Louisa, everytime you refrain from swearing, know that I am out there somewhere proud of you! (Not that I'm not already proud of you and everyone else here anyway, but you know... )

My summer started only two days ago, so I'm taking time to relax at home first before hitting the streets to shop and party.

I made a resolution to do my best not to swear for a day. It's a nasty habit I want to get rid of. It's not going so well, but I'm determined to tone it down even a little bit. *sigh* Easier said than done.

I believe, by doing this, there will be good karma waiting ahead and a sense of well-being for me.

Aw, Paul - I'm counting with you - I'm counting to the weekend.

Summer is here, but it says it will rain for the rest of the week. I absolutely hate Canadian weather. One day it's super hot and sunny, the next it's wet and rainy.

Good news:
My mom decided that she didn't feel like driving that route four times a day (45 minutes each time) for me to not get credit, so now I'm just skipping the class and getting a tutor instead. Summer is mine again (minus the summer work and math tutor).

Kelsey, if I had your schedule over the past few weeks, I would probably be in the hospital for exhaustion and dehydration. Congratulations on getting so much done, and even though you have a couple of weeks of algebra coming, I hope you enjoy your summer!

And that goes for the rest of you as well!

Updates:
1) I am now on Facebook.
2) I finished regular school today. I'm a junior now!
3) The Drive-In theater opened up, as did the ice cream stand, so I'm getting fat and watching movies a lot. I've been hanging out with friends a lot lately, enjoying the great springy weather.
4) I start a summer college algebra class Monday. It's from 9 to 1. I don't get any credit because I can only go two of the three weeks (family vacation is the last week of the class), but it should prepare me for calculus next year. Wish me luck, because I hate math. (But maybe I won't once I actually understand it.) I get to start summer after that's over.
5) I got a 100 on my personal anthology, which I'd love to FedEx to you all to show off, but that would be expensive. Let me just say that I feel pretty awesome. Late nights, tears, wasted Saturdays at the library, and four months down, and I'm good to go.
6) I ordered the "Ambitions" EP for Sims 3. I'm waiting for it to hurry up and get here already.

And I think that's it. You're now all caught up with my life.

Wait until you get to be my age, Louisa. A stiff neck in the morning is the least of my aches and pains.

Yep, thanks, Paul! This is my first ear infection. I think it's practically healed by now; the sharp pain and pounding has stopped. Though I still continue to use the medicine just to be sure because the doctor said I have to use it for a week.

New problem: the right side of my neck is hurting after sleeping in one position all night. Woe is me. What a double whammy all in one week. Is this a sign of more injuries to come? I certainly hope not.

Not so much now, but my kids used to get ear infections all the time. I hope you're feeling better, Louisa!

Haha, Paul, I have done that a couple of times before, even if the bathroom light was turned on. Those incidents didn't even occur on Mondays. Guess I'm really just a bumbling idiot.

Well, this week wasn't so great. On Monday my left ear started hurting, and the next day it was unbearably painful I couldn't stand it (though miraculously I did). Yesterday my mom brought me to the doctor's—he said I had external ear infection. We bought medicine for it so luckily it's getting much better and I don't feel so crappy.

...and best part of all, IT'S FRIDAYAY!
