Hi, my name is William. My alias is Fingolfin's Elven name. I was originally going as Fingolfin, but I made a mistake putting in my email address so I couldn't activate my account, so I had to make a new one. I was born in and currently live in Taiwan, but I'm British, and English has been my first language, although I know some Chinese as well.
I'm a big fan of Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. I generally read classical literature as opposed to the latest fads. I don't really understand all the fuss over the-thing-that-must-not-be-named, since it should be rotting with all the other failures. I dislike Twit fans and literature trolls. Nice to meet you.

Dictionary Definition : Rodent - Homo Rodentiensis is a typical LC creature. Always ready to laugh about stupidity, this being has long occupied a special moderator status on the LC. As one of the very few LC creatures who actually can get and keep a partner, she is the object of constant envy. Though madness is not part of the average Rodents characteristics, this particular feature can at times be subject to change, especially when striken by severe sleep deprivation.

Heyla and welcome!

I'm also thrilled to have a guy. Other than me, since I am not, in fact, a guy. I merely play one on the Internet because if I ever want to roleplay it's far, far safer.

So, see you in the forums!

Hey William,

We finally have our first male member (and hopefully more will follow). This is definitely the haven for us away from the silly Twilighters and trolls. You're from Taiwan? I wasn't kidding, then, when I said that the members of the Treehouse are from all over the world. Pretty awesome, right?

Anyways, welcome to our sane, little, secluded world.

This specimen is always found with Asian (Filipino) descent and is a loyal friend to the "good side" during the epic Choco War. A common mutualistic companion found with this specimen is a Pokemon (most likely, the epic Arceus). This species is closely related to the species Homo Sapiens Tourterelleous. Common names include Lynn's Angel.

Nah, Zara's right. I happened to accidentally register at Yahoo as a guy in the way-back-when, and after that I figured it'd be fun to be ambiguous about my gender. (It is. It is extremely fun). So no need to apologise, it was intentional on my part to be confusing about whether I'm a guy or not.

I tried that once, too... But fact is, I completely fail at posing as a guy. My only consolation is that I'll never be turned down by a man for being "too masculine" Very Happy

Oh Solveig...
You aren't the only one who epically fails at posing like a guy--I do too. Yeah, a lot of people have said to me that behave like a guy, but I have one or two mannerisms that would give me away as a complete female. Well, at least I have those mannerisms, or else the guys would accuse me of being "too masculine"--some already accuse me of that. Just to rectify that, I try to alternate clothing. One day, I dress like my old, tomboy self. Then I alternate with a "preppy" (ugh..I hate that term, but for lack of another term, I'm stuck), more feminine version of me. I could care less, but apparently more people have noticed. Go figure.

I succeed distressingly well at posing as a guy. Better than I do as a girl, in fact.

At least... online. Offline, I have the kind of body type that you'd have to be quite, quite blind to mistake for a guy. This was disappointing when I tried to cross-dress for Hallowe'en and apparently gives my best (male) friend the right to make jokes like "If anyone ever tries to drown you they'll only prove that you're a witch."

(It's kind of entertaining to see who gets the joke and who doesn't, though).
