*I am a graduate student. I oscillate between a swollen head and a severe case of "imposter sydrome."
*I read and write critically as well as for fun. Sometimes I have trouble turning my critical voice off.
*I am married.
*I have two rabbits. They are lovely.
*I have just started a blog that is about the experience of academia in grad school. It is both meta and boring exciting! You should check it out here.
*I am friendly, even if I seem standoffish.
*The End.
* woooork <-- this is me all the time. Smile

Dictionary Definition : Dictionary Definition: Paul-One of the few male LC creatures known to exist, this specimen is one of the eldest in the LC universe. This specimen is known to work long hours but still makes time to commingle with fellow LC denizens. This being has a peculiar sense of humor and has been observed to shun smilies, although this aversion has been lessening as of late.

Hello, Jocelyn, welcome to the Literary Cabinet. I hope you find the LC to your liking and have a lot of fun here. Look around, read the Rules thread (they aren't draconian, but we do adhere by them), post away, and enjoy! If you have any questions or problems let me know. Take care! Very Happy

Nice to meet you.
I looked at some of your posts, and it looked like you have the same bad habit as I do, starting way too many books at the same time. Do you ever finish all of them???

Yes, I do (and have to!), mostly because of my program. Lol. I normally read at least three books a week for school, plus essays.
