| I hate weather. Weather hates me. Every single town surrounding mine got 2-4 inches of snow (yes, that is actually a lot for me). You know what we got? A little bit of wet white stuff on the roofs. Nothing on the ground. I hate winter. | |

Number of posts : 1882 Age : 41 Location : Canada Dictionary Definition : Rodent - Homo Rodentiensis is a typical LC creature. Always ready to laugh about stupidity, this being has long occupied a special moderator status on the LC. As one of the very few LC creatures who actually can get and keep a partner, she is the object of constant envy. Though madness is not part of the average Rodents characteristics, this particular feature can at times be subject to change, especially when striken by severe sleep deprivation. | Snow is NOT my friend. I have no desire to go sledding and get my knees, feet and bum wet. I have no desire to have a snowball fight as I detest having things thrown at me. I don't make snowmen anymore, nor do I make snow angels. I guess when my son gets older I'll have to suck it up and do all those things but until then I refuse. Snow makes the roads hell to drive on. Snow means shoveling the driveway, or listening to my husband complain if he has to do it. Snow means winter, winter means cold. I am waiting for spring. Were it to snow christmas eve and melt boxing day, I would be the happiest girl in central British Columbia. If I could send my snow to you lucky snowless people, I would. I must work on that invention.

| It snows here sometimes. We got about two inches last night, which isn't uncommon. Can't say I like to play in it, but I like to watch it. | |

| Completely dark now. Still no sign of snow. Mother, father, and best friend have confirmed snow rumor. If snow doesn't arrive, Tourterelle and her Wisconsin winter wonderland will be blamed. | |

| Well, while I was in Canada, it snowed BIG TIME. (Mind you, Vancouver gets a lot of rain usually) And the funny thing was it only started snowing when we arrived there! I'm not sure whether it's a good or bad omen. Anyway, seeing snow for the first time was an exciting experience. (Living in a place with no snow at all, you'd be surprised) We played basketball even when the snow reached our knees, made snowmen, snow forts, drank hot chocolate, had snow ball fights, stuck out our tongue for the flakes, and saw the crystal formation of the flakes whenever they were on our jackets.
But snow gets boring sometimes because you're always in the house all day. You can't play unless you want a broken ankle. You're like a freezing human popsicle all the time. I can't wait till I go back there, though. By that time it's already SPRING!

Sure, I like snow. You get sick of it here after Christmas though, when the charm wears off. Igloos? Wow. You must get lots of snow. I remember when my uncle lived in Michigan there was snow everywhere. I love it when it snows. Well, not ice igloos, but snow ones. My brother, my dad, and myself got out a shoebox and started making squares of snow and made a huge fort. The thing looked awesome. Oh, and I used to make small snow forts just by packing snow, and I would knock down icicles and store them in a little "refrigerator" inside the wall of my fort.

| We've already had our two-and-a-half days of snow this year. It's never much, and it never stays long. We also don't have much of a summer. I hate Northern Germany for that - I guess I'm more the mediterranean type.
If it snowed, I'd take long walks. And snowball fights. I love snowball fights.

| For the first time in years it might actually snow!!! I'm so excited. Granted, it's still 40 degrees, and even if it does snow it won't stick, but I'm still excited. I drank a cup of hot cocoa in preparation.
For those of you that live where it's snowed already, how is it? Have you made a snowman before? Snowball fights? Sledding? Oh, I hope it snows! We had an ice storm three or four years ago and it was amazing. I wish I had snow gear...
Do you guys like snow? What do you do when it snows?
