A common mutualistic companion found with this specimen is a Pokemon (most likely, the epic Arceus). This species is closely related to the species Homo Sapiens Tourterelleous. Common names include Lynn's Angel.

Sally Russet was just an ordinary potato girl, going to high school and stuff. And then one day everything changed, when a strange potato boy started at her potato school. His name was Spudward. He wasn't like the other potato boys. There was a stillness in his presence that was like the mist coming off of a waterfall. Sally couldn't breathe when Spudward stood next to her, or even when he stood pretty far away but still in the same room. She was drawn to him like a magnet is drawn to another magnet and she knew her life that used to be boring and filled only with an endless stream of her inane, impossibly-narcicistic inner monologues would never be the same.

What she didn't know was that he was......Vampotato. Available now at Barnes and Noble.

That reminds me of something my friend and I did with a tomato and a tangerine long ago. It was pretty cool. I'll see if I can track down a video, but I'm sure it's long-lost.
