I've been getting some help via email from an editor with a story I am writing. It's not the fantasy story, that is simmering on the back burner indefinately. Anyway, I sent him my latest chapter and his reply was an ocean of red text. He had so much for me to cut and change and rewrite. I was thrilled, no, I was delighted!
Am I weird that I enjoyed the fact I had so much to work on?

I see this as a golden opportunity to improve my writing. I know a lot of "writers" would have taken one look at all that red and freaked. They would have flipped their lids and went off on a tirade. Not me man, I think I even giggled a little.
