Rest In Peace, Caylee Anthony

This is sad, sick and tragic. At least Caylee is in a better place now. Life could not have been to great with a family like that. It is a shame that there are people like that this in the world. However, I am keeping my judgements to myself. I don't know who played what role in that poor little girls death, I just hope justice is served.

I personally think that the grandparents are hiding something. Sure, a parent would want to help their child, but if their child killed their grandchild? Then lies about it? Obviously, something isn't connecting around here...and although Casey carries the most guilt, I think that Casey's parents also have some part in this whole scheme. Sad and pathetic, really.

I agree. My family is so "not with it." I told them about this, and they were like, "What? Who? Cay-what?"
Anyway, I guess you believe that Casey Anthony is guilty, too. The evidence is pretty strong; I would probably faint if it turns out that she isn't the murderer. I did explain the situation to my dad, though, and he called Casey a "psychopathic freak." Ugh, I cannot imagine her motive. If she didn't want Caylee, she didn't have to murder her.

It's really sad what happened to Caylee. But, I'm going to agree with Solveig here. Although the evidence against Casey is huge and this is an innocent 2-year-old that was killed, we should leave it up to the police, forensic scientists, etc. to make the final decision.

I personally think that Casey's guilty, although I'll always wonder how a mother would have the heart to do such a horrible thing.

What happened to the father anyway? Casey said he was killed in a car accident while going to Caylee's first birthday party...

I want the authorities to release Casey Anthony and let mob justice handle this... This is just ridiculous... Only a person of pure evil could do that to their innocent child.

Exactly. If I had a daughter and she went missing, I would run to the police the moment I heard she was gone.

I don't know how people can murder a child, shove them into a bag, and just dump them in the woods. Honestly, that's revolting.

Officials confirmed Friday that the skeletal remains discovered in the woods last week belong to missing 2-year-old girl Caylee Anthony.

"With regret, I am here to inform you that the skeletal remains found … are those of the missing toddler Caylee Anthony," medical examiner Dr. Jan Gervais told reporters during a 2 p.m. press conference in Orlando, Fla. The announcement came after an FBI forensic lab in Virginia matched the child's DNA with bones discovered near her grandparents' home.

According to Gervais, "The cause of death will be listed as homicide by undetermined means."

"While I would love to explain the forensic aspects of this case to you ... we must remember that everyone is innocent until proven guilty," Gervais said.

Anthony's mother, Casey Anthony, 22, was notified in an Orange County jail, where she is awaiting trial on murder charges stemming from her daughter's disappearance in June. Anthony waited five weeks to report her child missing and maintained that she left Caylee with a babysitter who abducted her.

On Dec. 11, a utility worker discovered the remains of a child in a plastic bag.
